Send a chat message when offline
The core of UserEngage is communication between people. We believe that we always should be there for our users. However, we are people - not robots working 24/7. Here, you will find out how to create an action path to send automated chat messages when you are offline.
Let's start from Trigger: Chat message (timeout: 30 sec) and Condition: Responded? (to check if our agent has already responded to a particular message. If not, after 10 sek (Action: Delay, 10 sec), send a chat message (Action: Send a new chat message). For example: "Hi [name], unfortunately we can't help you at the moment. We'll contact you first thing in the morning!"
Remember to save the path and enable it for specific hours.
